pictures of Jenna's birth

Just admitted and still convinced that I was going to be sent home.

I have such vivid memories of this.  My mom and Andrew stared at the contractions.  They did it when they were really hard before the epidural (until I made Andrew sit down and hold my hand) and when I had the epidural and blessedly couldn't feel them anymore so I could revel in the fact that I was pain-free during the big ones.

I was so mad.  I didn't eat a very big breakfast because 1.  I thought I was coming back home 2. I was getting ready to go and getting Nathaniel ready incase I didn't come back.  So, I was starving pretty much right away.  My mom brought Andrew McDonalds and I couldn't have anything since I was going to have her.  I got this nice lemon ice that pretty much just made it worse.  I didn't even keep it down in the end though as I got nausiated right after the epidural went in.  All I wanted was french fries.  During my labor all I talked about was what I was going to eat as soon as I was allowed.

New little Jenna.

Getting her measurements, Apgar and footprints.

Can't get this one to turn.  But, I wouldn't hold her right away because I had the shakes so bad. I was afraid I'd either shake her too hard or drop her.  So Andrew brought her to me to see her.
Finally feeling  calm enough to hold her.
My sweet little baby.

I've never seen anyone look so beautiful after giving birth! You look amazing. And Jenna is just as beautiful too. I love that she wore your blessing dress. So sweet.
